I am happy to announce that Brownsville, Brooklyn poet and open mic host extraordinaire, Essence, will be performing at The World Famous Apollo Theater tomorrow night. He made it to the semi-final round of the historical Amateur Night show. This is a big deal for a poet. If you happen to be in Harlem at the show tomorrow night, cheer the homie on.
